Flickr candles by TBT was born in January of 2021.
It all began with an idea. You know one of thoes new year goal setting seesion you have and want to eveluate your life ?!
It was a way for us to make some extra cash to pay off our mortgage quicker and get a bit further ahead than just week to week wages. Also something we could do together. One of thoes brainstorming session was something that evenutally turned turned into a DREAM. It definately gave us some drive.
With some research and a lot of trail and error, our brand Flickr Candles by TBT came to life. We started handcrafting the candles in our kitchen and it over took our home so then it was the based our garage. We took the chance and sold the candles at our local sunday market. We soon got sick of lugging the bulk candles supply so then this quickly lead to a small space in the museum village (which we still have) to now our beautiful “ONE STOP GIFT SHOP” right in the heart of town.
Along with the hard work of creating our product and running a full time retail store in Esperance we could not have asked for anything else ….. to live out our little dream.
Our candles are our core product and although we do have a wide variety of gift and homewares now ….. our handcraft with candles and diffuers etc are our focus point and each and every single one of them are made with such LOVE. We still do a little happy dance with every Flickr product that is sold.
They say .... love what you do and you would never have to work a day in your life. We thought that was a whole lot of BS until we got to do it ourselves.
