Flickr Candles by TBT was born in January 2021, thanks to one of those classic New Year goal-setting moments—when you're dreaming big and wondering, “What’s next?” We (Bec and Trent) were on a mission to find a side hustle, not just to get ahead and pay off the mortgage faster, but also to create something fun we could do together. After a few brainstorms, the lightbulb moment hit: candles! And so began our journey. With a bit of research, a ton of trial and error, and a lot of laughs along the way, Flickr Candles by TBT came to life right in our home kitchen. Before we knew it, our new candle obsession took over the house and moved into our garage. Feeling confident in our creation, we took the plunge and made our debut at the Museum Village Sunday Markets. It didn’t take long for us to realize hauling all those candles every weekend was not exactly fun. So, when the chance came to snag a small retail space at the Museum Village, we were all in! That little shop was great, but we quickly outgrew it, and that’s when we opened our beautiful "ONE STOP GIFT SHOP" in the heart of Esperance. But we’re never ones to sit still for long! We’re always on the hunt for new and exciting adventures, and our next challenge is to find stockists who are willing to take a leap with us. We want our candles in stores across WA, or—dream BIG, right?—Australia-wide! So, wherever our amazing followers are, they can find us. We've loved every minute of building a high-quality brand and creating a cozy, vibrant shop right here by the coast. We’re living our dream in this magical seaside town—and we couldn’t be happier!

MEET THE PEOPLE THAT MAKE FLICKR
With the growth of our retail space, our Team has grown too! Bec is in the store daily supported by Beth and Amy who help to keep the shop running. Liah is also a part of the team, often helping her mum with the computer entries and also hands of with handmaking Flickr product. You will often find Trent on the tools hand crafting candles, melts and diffusers and in charge of quality control for the business. ALL products are made by this duo with LOVE and pride.
