WHEN YOUR DREAM BECOMES YOUR REALITY !

Flickr Candles by TBT sparked to life in January 2021 during one of those classic New Year “what’s next?” moments. We’re Bec and Trent - just a couple of dreamers looking for a creative side hustle that could help pay off the mortgage and bring a little joy into our days. After a few laughs (and many experiments in our kitchen), we landed on candles - and the rest, as they say, is history. What began as a homegrown hustle soon blossomed into a thriving small business. From our first stall at the Museum Village Sunday Markets to outgrowing our first shop and opening our beautiful ONE STOP GIFT SHOP in the heart of Esperance, it’s been one exciting chapter after another. And now, in 2025, we’ve turned another page with our latest addition: a NEW LOCATION and cozy cafe concept that’s become the new go-to spot in town. Think takeaway coffee, every tea under the sun, hot chocolates, cold drinks, thick shakes, milkshakes, frappes, and our very own signature Esperance frappes - plus a drool-worthy range of cakes, slices, biscuits, and more. But what truly sets us apart? Our team brings the vibe. From the moment you step in, you’ll feel it. The energy, the warmth, the smiles - our crew is all about creating feel-good moments. Whether you're a local popping in for your usual or a visitor discovering us for the first time, you'll always be greeted like an old friend. Our space is more than just a shop or a cafe - it’s a destination. A community hub. A place to connect, relax, and treat yourself to something special. And we’re so proud of what it’s become - not just for us, but for Esperance. OHH and we are open Sundays, and the coffee is available after 1pm ! We’re still dreaming big (nationwide stockists, we’re looking at you!), but no matter where the road leads, this magical coastal town will always be home. Dream BIGGER !

MEET THE PEOPLE THAT MAKE FLICKR

With the growth of our retail space, our Team has grown too! Bec is in the store daily supported by Beth and Amy who help to keep the shop running. Liah is also a part of the team, often helping her mum with the computer entries and also hands of with handmaking Flickr product. You will often find Trent on the tools hand crafting candles, melts and diffusers and in charge of quality control for the business. ALL products are made by this duo with LOVE and pride.
